It's easy to forget how precious our health is as we rush about our day-to-day business. Those who have undergone treatment for Alopecia, Cancer or other serious illnesses such as these will know all too well how the effects of the treatment can seriously impact their lives.

Many people have imperfections due to accidents, disease, illness and surgery.

As a result of this a person's confidence, self-image and emotional well-being may be affected.

Medical Tattooing/Cosmetic Pigment Camouflage is enormously worthwhile in that it can make a significant difference to a persons body image, physiological and emotional state.Often the finishing touches to surgical procedures, Medical Tattooing/Cosmetic Pigment Camouflage can be the end of a highly emotional journey. Medical Tattooing or Cosmetic Pigment Camouflage are names given to a Post Surgery Treatment using a procedure to infuse a coloured pigment in to the skin.Once the skin has healed, pigment can be infused and blended into the surrounding skin tone to camouflage an imperfection and create the illusion of smoother skin.A coloured pigment can also be infused to create an optical effect such as the Areola Nipple Complex after breast surgery. In the case of Alopecia or hair loss an optical effect of a hair stroke can be created to give the appearance of eyebrows or eyelashes.

Areola Restoration & Recolouration.

Micropigmentation can be done to reconstruct the aesthetic appearance of the nipple areola complex after reconstructive surgery. Cosmetic tattooing with flesh coloured pigments can be utilised to give woman back the aesthetic balance when she has undergone breast reconstruction. This procedure can also be used to restore pigment balance and symmetry that may have been lost with aging. The procedure usually starts with patch testing different flesh tone pigments to obtain the disired areola colour tone. A round stencil will be used to obtain the desired areola size. The subsequent visit entail pigment shading to obtain a more 3 dimensional looking areola/nipple complex.

After breast reduction surgery, any visible scars around the areola and breast can be camouflaged to blend in with the surrounding skin tone.

Pigment can also be infused to darken pale areolas, enlarge small areolas and redifine irregular areolas.

Alopecia.

Medical Tattooing and Permanent Make-up is ideal for alopecia suffers or people who have experienced hair loss following chemotherapy treatment.

A natural hair stroke eyebrow, and eyelash simulation can be created to give the illusion of eyelashes and eyebrows.

Vitiligo.

Vitiligo is a skin disorder where there is hypopigmentation (loss of skin colour).

Vitiligo can occur at any age but most commonly begins before the age of 20.

In some cases Medical Tattooing can be successful in camouflaging the loss of skin colour to match the surrounding skin tones.

Cleft Lip.

The appearance of a cleft lip can be dramatically improved by creating symmetrical shaped lips and camouflaging scar tissue.

The Cupid's bow is re-shaped along with the lip contour and pigment is infused to create a more symmetrical shape. The end results in this procedure can be excellent.

Forcyde Lips

Poor blood supply can cause discolouration of the lips as the glands lose their pigmentation and turn white. We will reintroduce pigment to the skin's reticular layer to even out the lip colour and reinstate the lip shape.

Scar Relaxation & Scar Camouflage

Micro pigmentation procedures have the benefit of improving the look of scarring by breaking down the taut scar tissue and creating a more even-textured surface.

Advanced micro pigmentation techniques can diminish and disguise scars from either surgery or injury. We custom blend pigments that harmonise with the surrounding tissue and then implant them to make the scar less noticeable and reduce its contrasting, shiny appearance. It is important to have a realistic expectation when undergoing this procedure.

Many people have imperfections and as a result of this a person's confidence, self-image and emotional well-being may be affected.

This procedure is ideal for scars caused from accidents or injuries, 'face lift' scars or scars from other surgical procedures. Generally one year after a scar has healed, pigment can be infused in the scar to help match the surrounding skin tone.
